Dragons Stadium Limited is
developing a long-term project
at Rodney Parade to create a
true sporting hub for the city.
Options include either installation
of an indoor 4G training barn
with associated o昀케ces and
community space, or a 4G pitch
with 2,000-seater stand and
changing rooms. The preferred
option would be the indoor barn,
as it will create more commercial
opportunities as well as an
all-weather facility. Both options
o昀昀er the local community a
facility they have never had use
of before.
There is also the potential to
bring an indoor music venue to
Newport, with a capacity of
around 1500-2,000 spectators. A
great facility for the local
community of Newport.
