VOLUNTEERS
AT THE GAMES
Service to the Community is one of the principles
of Freemasonry, which is why it is such a privilege
for the Freemasons of Yorkshire to be able to
sponsor the Volunteer Programme at these Games.
Our thanks go to the 200 plus volunteers who have
put themselves forward for these Games. They are
supplemented by all the voluntary officials and
sports volunteers who are helping deliver
26 sporting events across 12 venues in the
Games. So, the true number of volunteers exceeds
300 people. An amazing achievement. You’ll
notice them in their red volunteer T- shirts.
