The race starts and finishes on Division Street/
Cambridge Street, which adjoins Barker’s
Pool and is a route run mainly on roads or
paved boulevards in the city centre. The route
has been closed to traffic, but there will be
pedestrians on the course and so runners must
remain aware. See the route below.
Athletes running the race are advised to bring
their own water bottles though there will be
water available post-race from water butts, to
avoid using single-use plastics.
Please note that the course is on hard surfaces
and is wheelchair accessible. The 5km distance
is achieved by one full lap.
Medals for the Official Road race will be
presented at 10:00 on Sunday 9th August
at the English Institute of Sport and not
after the race on Saturday.
