ACCESS TO THE OPENING CEREMONY IS
BY WRIST BAND & ACCREDITATION ONLY
Whilst anyone can line up and spectate the
Athlete’s Parade, access to the City Hall is by an
Opening Ceremony Wristband issued to Team
Managers on their arrival. You also must wear your
accreditation pass. This is both for security reasons
and for capacity reasons.
NO LARGE BAGS – otherwise entry will be refused
To facilitate the Athlete’s Parade and avoid bag
screening, only small bags (30cm x 20cm) will
be allowed into the venue without a search. This
means no large backpacks or rucksacks or holdalls. Bag searches will mean you will be pulled
out of the parade, so please only bring what is
essential for the Parade and Opening Ceremony.
