WELCOME
FROM
At Kidney Care UK, we share the ethos of the
Games: community, friendship, staying active and
raising awareness of organ donation, and have
been a lead partner of the Transplant Games for
over a decade. We are rewarded every year by
seeing so many patients achieve their goals, as they
strive to be the best they can in the companionship
of other patients who know and understand the
challenges they have been through. And we’re sure
that Sheffield 2026 will be no exception!
Paul Bristow, Chief Executive of Kidney Care UK, said:
“Kidney Care UK has always been at the heart of
supporting patients to live well with kidney disease.
We particularly love the impact that the Games has
on the younger competitors. For so much of their
lives, kidney disease has meant that the focus can
often become on all the things they can’t do. We love
seeing what participating in the Games can do for
young kidney people with kidney disease.”
Good luck to everybody taking part and do come
and say hello to the team.
