before the river and crossing over the Vanbrugh
Bridge to the finish line along with all other
runners.
The race starts along the path near the Palace
North Gates, that leads to the Vanbrugh
Grand Bridge.
Athletes running the race are advised to bring
their own water bottles though there will be
water available post-race from water butts,
to avoid using single-use plastics.
Please note that the course is on hard surfaces
and is wheelchair accessible.
Medals for the official Games Road Race will
be presented the following day at 10am at
Tilsley Park in the medal presentation area
located outside the main entrance of the
sports complex.
