We hope to conclude the formal ceremony
by 7.45pm. Therefore, participants in the
Ceremony will remain standing. However, along
either side of the courtyard there are walls at
circa 1 metre high which provide lots of respite
seating.
Regrettably, the Palace’s main frontage is
under repair and will be shielded from view,
but the atmosphere of the huge courtyard and
surrounding buildings generates an amazing
atmosphere with the Duke of Marlborough’s
towering monument visible to all.
